What is the go to pellet food for clowns & other salties in general?

I see everyone refer to them but not by name. I had some shrimp pellets from my freshwater but they will stay on the surface for hours.. seemingly.

NLS, Hikari, Omega One and Cobalt are my go to. I just buy the ones specific to my fishes diet. If your talking about the Omega One shrimp pellets you need to grind them up a bit for small fish. My triggers and tusk love those.

I rarely feed pellets so my experience with them is limited, I used them more as a tool than a food. I use aqueon pro pellets to raise my phosphates when they dip too low as they are high in phosphates. Fish seam to love them as well as the crabs and snails if they are lucky enough to get one. Not saying these will raise your phosphates out of control though, I over feed for several days to give phosphates a boost so if used correctly they would be fine.

I think one thing people overlook when feeding pellets and/or flake is variety, pellets and flake are great foods but they're not perfect so having a couple of options is always a solid idea! My pellet feeding consists of about 8-10 different pellets at any given time with only one flake food due to difficulty mixing haha. New Life Spectrum, Aquaforest, and Ocean Nutrition is what my current mix of feeds consists of. Variety of the spice of life haha
