Yesterday my peppermint shrimp was turning a grey almost white color and today his color is almost back to normal ?? Is this normal

like when a snake sheds it's skin as it grows. shrimp will shed their exoskeleton, or is it a layer of it? Either way, if you see a limp version of your shrimp stuck to the overflow, dont freak out.
