I have a 32g biocube. All stock at the moment but I do have a Hydra 32hd and a screen lid on the way. A few days ago I seen something moving on a larger plug. I think the smaller things may be flat worms but what about the larger, darker, quick moving thing? I've asked multiple people and 3 different fish stores in my area and no one can tell me. Anybody have any ideas?

I think it is a stomatella, which are great. You can verify by looking at it from the side; flat worms are very flat, almost like paper. Stomatella look like a terrestrial slug. The supporting characters are various "pods". None of the things are flat worms.

Agree that’s a stomatella snail. Great cleanup crew member.

Agree and the best algae eater you cant buy- Often only acquired as a hitchhiker and very reef safe

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
