Hello
Since I have apex ( last few days) I can monitor many parameters all the time
I noticed that my PH is constantly drooping
I have nanocube 24G
salt = 34.6
temp 78.7
PH 7.88 dropping, I raised it from 7.2 by changing the water few times already
ammonia a little spiked to 0.25 ( added some new live rock)
Alkalinity 7.6 ( I think, if I bring up higher) it may fix PH issues

any other ideas why my PH is dropping ?

If at 7.2 you either have major major issue or more likely a calibration error or improperly working ph probe . Cause for low ph is 99% the time excessive co2 in your house

closed windows? no air circulation ? this is my room condition

I recently removed the top from the cube, I think the closed lid ( top) was not a good solution
how about pomping air from a small airpomp? will it help ?

Did you test it against a known PH solution? May need to be calibrated. Higher co2 in the water causes lower PH so when cO2 levels go up indoors it causes lower PH. One way to check for this is add an air pump with air stone into the tank for 1-2 days and see if your average PH raises. If it goes up it isn't co2 in the house, but co2 in the water, increase surface agitation or leave the air stone in the tank

Yes your low ph is likely due to windows closed and no air circulation which causes co2 to raise.
open you window for few hours and retest I bet it comes up few points.
just an FYI yes it is winter here aswell and my kitchen window gets opened and exhaust fan turned on for 5-8 hours every day

IMO, a pH of 7.2 is highly unlikely to be accurate unless the alkalinity is super low.

I just experienced the affects of filtering C02 in my 32G Biocube.
Was never able to get a PH reading above 8.00
Put a DIY C02 scrubber on my skimmer and I know get readings of 8.16 at the peak of the cycle.
