PH probe? Should I be worried?

Please can someone tell me if this is my probe or not… I’m not home until the morning and randomly has this VERY steep drop and is now bouncing back and forth?

The only thing different today was removing some water to transport a coral (removed about 5 gallons from a 350 gallon system) and cut my ATO back on because it has been off!

I will also like to mention I have my protein skimmer hooked up to one of the universal CO2 scrubbers from BRS!
Looks like a bust probe. However it's a little odd and I've only seen this happen when the bulb is physically broken. Perhaps the BNC connector wasn't fixed securely and it's fell out. As long as your skimmer and return pumps are still running and you've got no low pH stuff being dosed, that'll be my guess.

It is certainly not accurate, unless you added a bunch of acid, but that does not mean it’s a probe problem as opposed to the device it’s attached to. Try recalibrating it.

I don’t trust any of my Apex probes except temp. Salinity and PH have been off since day 1. I rely on other tests and never test PH since Alk is a more accurate measurement My $0.02

That suggests that the two are somehow interchangeable, which I would not agree with. It’s may be fine to not measure pH, but knowing alk does not tell you anything useful about pH.
