Hello All,
I was hoping to get some feedback on my tanks PH where I have LPS and some softies. I'm trying to do a better job of controlling my parameters than I have in the past.
In an effort to raise my tanks PH closer to 8.3ish I added a BRS CO2 scrubber. Currently my scrubber is attached to the skimmers muffler nipple and I also ran a line from the scrubber to the outside air through the wall. According to my Apex Fusion (which was recently calibrated) the PH is now ranging between 7.9 (Nighttime) & 8.2 (Daytime). Is this range and magnitude acceptable for torches and goni's or should I look at other measures to make the range more consistent and the magnitude closer to 8.3 or 8.4? If so, what would be the next step? Kalk?
Please let me know if anyone has any additional questions to help formulate an answer.
Thank you, Mike
