So I have my system setup to dose limewater through a kalkstirrer. It is dosed via a BRS 50ml/ min doser controlled by my Apex. Since I set it up, I haven't adjusted the dosing time at all. It's set to run 1 minute per hour this dosing 50ml of limewater per hour. Today I was checking my temp and saw that my pH has steadily increased over the day. I got scared, shut the doser off and checked the alkalinity. It's 7.1 dkh which is actually less than the normal 8 dkh I run. I did add a few acro frags yesterday which may account for the alkalinity drop, but why the PH increase?!

Can you please post a graph how the pH have looked like the last 4-7 days?. How old is your setup. How much corals do you have? Any algae - macro or micro?

Sincerely Lasse
