Frustrating couple days. I had some credit from Blue zoo that I needed to use. Normally I would only buy one fish at a time unless they were the same species but Blue zoo has a dumb policy stating that you have to use all of your credit at the same time. So I got two multibar angels (the reason for the whole order), a bi-color foxface and a couple assorted flasher wrasses to round out the order. I chose next Saturday as my shipment date which is the 27th. Monday night I go to check my email and I have tracking updates 10 days early and I'm not gonna be home. I got my sister to pick up the box and take it inside so at least it wouldn't be outside. Finally to my amazement I get home and everything is still alive and well. Today I get home and all of them are scratching themselves on everything. I'm so tired of dealing with sick fish his year. Multi bars are hard enough fish to keep without having to medicate them. Looks like Im going hypo this round.

I'm still not completely positive on diagnosis, I quickly jumped to the conclusion it was ich due to fish scratching but today I'm starting to think flukes or both. They don't show any obvious skin issues but have the head shakes really bad. I'm gonna hold off and see what effect prazipro has and go from there.

WOw that is very nice, I have never been to AZ, but id imagine that when its boiling hot out side and you go into ur air cond. home and sit and watch that beautiful reef system you have there, that it feels like heaven! nice system looks remarkable. keep posting

Came to the decision that after putting up with the Mitratus butterfly for a while Im letting him go. Despite lots of feeding and an auto feeder he still just does more damage to SPS than Im willing to tolerate. I don't mind lack of PE but a colony with big white chunks missing isn't cool. He's going to a buddies FOWLR with lots of other butterflies. Awesome fish and I'm glad I gave it a shot but gotta move on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did/do you also have a Tinkeri? Debating one but I hear they're questionable.

No I don't have a tinkers but they're in the same family and I'd use caution. It's very doable but I'd expect some nipping and I wouldn't do it if you have any fleshy LPS. He could care less about frogspawn though.

Hey Brad, QT is going alright at the moment. It's been a rough year though, I've lost a few nice ones lately. Right now I just have a few wrasses and a Copperband that's trying to kick some lyphocytes . Thanks for the nice comments, I've been playing with the camera a lot lately.
