I should say this light is a loaner - it is not mine. I am not being paid to test it. In fact, I will lose money since the luminaire is heavy (passive cooling - monster heat sink - no fans) and *might* stress my capacity of the suspension system over the test tank - don't want to take a chance and dunk it! A trip to the hardware store is in order tomorrow.

Dana this maybe off topic but does it say on the box where it was made? Or Jeff can you answer this question?
Made in Hungary.

Following. Just heard about this light today. Any specs on it? Price?
I'm going to wring it out. But have to get it mounted above the test tank - got the hardware (screws) yesterday. Also there is some assembly (not much) and that is completed as well. No idea on price - CoralVue shipped it to me as a loaner, and it will donated to the Twin Cities Marine Aquarium Society when done. Hope to get the article on the ReefBreeders wrapped up today.

On Facebook they said price won't change from the Gen 1 fixtures, so roughly $750 US. Mounting and hanging hardware is allegedly included with each fixture so at least you won't need to buy extra mounting hardware.

Their Facebook also has the specs.

Mounting hardware was included with the unit I received. Buyer will need to provide two screws and run them into joists.

I received 3 (not purchased) and all three came with hanging hardware. This is how I suspended mine.

Got the CoralCare light mounted this morning. Have to download the software and get the testing done. It usually takes about 2 weeks to get testing and review completed.
