Hi everyone! I've had my tank up and running for a few months now and things are going great! I think half the fun of the tank is showing my family back home pictures of all the inhabitants inside. However, anytime I take photos of the tank I get verticle lines in all of my photos.

Does anyone know why this is?
I'm not sure if it's from the lights or the glass itself. I take photos with my phone, which is a Google pixel 2.

Any insight on how to correct the issue would be greatly appreciated!

I would try taking pictures with the tank lights of to see if it is a light setting. I would also try turning the lights to all white and see if that helps.

I've never seen this issue. If you rotate the phone 90 degrees, do the bars remain vertical or do they rotate also? Just trying to determine if it's the phone or the glass.

Do you get the same problem if you shoot through the side glass instead of the front?

Lastly, have you tried turning off the lights, then use a flashlight to illuminate while taking the photo? This would help rule out your tank lights.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
