We are putting together a coral database and we need pics of these corals. If you can help out please post the pics in this thread. We will possibly be using the pics for the database here on R2R.

Well here is the only one I recognize as owning fromthe list. I'm sure I have more, but don't recognize them by scientific names. Here's my platygyra, an aussie worm brain.

Coralkeeper, do you know what type of gorgonians they are? The orange one looks like it might be Echinomuricea sp. and the other looks like it might be Pseudopterogorgia sp.

Coralkeeper, do you know what type of gorgonians they are? The orange one looks like it might be Echinomuricea sp. and the other looks like it might be Pseudopterogorgia sp.
The orange one is Spiny Orange Sea Rod (Muricea elongata) and the purple with white polyps is a Purple Feather Gorgonia (Pseudopterogorgia bipinnata). Both are photosynthetic gorgonians.
