Hi
I’ve started cultivating my own phyto and it looks about ready for harvest…. How do you know if there’s still f2 that’s not been used up and what I’ll effects would there be if you dose phyto with f2 left over….

Ive cultivated 3.5 litre of phyto with 4ml of F2….. Im currently on day 7…. Thank for any info…

I have been growing my own phyto for a few months now and have often wondered the same thing. I have considered diluting my phyto with fresh saltwater and testing it with my Hanna nitrate checker but I haven’t done it and don’t know if it’ll work or not.

So I surmising that nitrate should be 0 if no F2 present?

If the phyto has exhausted all the nitrate, it will probably crash. I'd expect a few ppm left from the F2, but once you dose, it will be so diluted, it won't make a difference. 100ml @ 5ppm in 200L gives you less than a 1ppb increase.
