I have a drink dispenser sitting around that is clear and has a spout on the bottom. I was wondering if this would work to culture phytoplankton. This way I could empty from the spigot and refill at the same time

That is what I do for mine. I have a 2.5 gallon plastic dispenser with an airport and a nano pump. The key is to sterilizer the container and all equipment for whatever you use
