My heater where the phytoplankton and copepods are in production went nuts this week and killed all but 2 green cultures and maybe my Rhodomonas cultures.
I just started new cultures and harvested the Rhodomonas. But I am unsure if it is phyto or something else. There are lines in the culture as it is agitated with the bubbles. I see some lines in the new nanno as well.
I do not own or have access to a microscope
Any ideas how I can tell? Would the bacteria hurt the copepods?
