Picasso clown pairing

Im currently pairing a female Picasso (5cm/ 2inches) with a male Picasso (3cm/ 1-1.1inches),before this guy she been with 2 others Ocelaris clown. They been doing well for 2 weeks now but there are 2 things that I need advise. Yesterday I noticed the white fluffy thing on my male lips which I first thought velvet or brook but it seem to be more of a wound from fighting. He got nip by the female for 2 days after in the tank but then I havent seen any other aggression from the female. Hes been good and swim along side her for days. Secondly, the male eats alot. Everytime I feed he will swim to the surface and the female only stay at the middle level. She eats the leftover that the male doesnt eat and some big chunk of shrimp that he cannot swallow. I did put food in between them and they do compete to eat but she seem to give it to the male. Im afraid that the male will grow faster and reach the size close the her and fight back like my first pair.

I wouldn't be too concerned. If the male is healthy, the wound should heal on its own. Since it's eating, it's not bothering it that much. There would be concern if it couldn't eat, but that's not the case.

In terms of size, the male typically remains smaller than the female, no matter how much it eats. This is assuming that both have established their roles. Since it sounds like they've stopped fighting, it likely means that the smaller fish has taken on the male role.
