I bought a pair of picassos from my LFS, he got them from someone moving out of state. Anywho I picked them up back in early December, for a steal. Have had them in a 25 lagoon, just them. Saturday I found eggs on algae scraper. Now I'm going to attempt to raise them, while I know I'm way behind the curve, I have to at least try. So Wednesday the rotifers starter kit and culture system arrive, yes I know cheaper to make my own, but didnt have the time.

Tonight is night 8, eggs are in hatch tank, with and air stone under the eggs, so do I turn the air off at lights out, till the hatch or keep it in?

keep it going
Thanks! They still haven't hatched, been in hatch tank since Friday night. Lights completely out, wait 30 minutes and check, another 30, check for 2 hrs... eyes are still reflective, try again tonight...

It's pretty normal for clowns first spawn to not produce much or be as desireable or healthy, many breeders let the first few spawns go, so take this as a good prep and learning experience for later, but still, way to go!

Thanks everyone, I picked the pair up from my LFS idk how long they've been paired, if they've spawned before, or how old they are. I hoped they'd breed, but always just thought they needed a home to live out their days, not a fish store. I'm so humbled and in awe having made it this far!

So how long till the larvae can be moved to a grow out, as it looks like I'll be having more hatch in another 8 days... tank?

I would just buy another 10 gallon tank, put a simple desk lamp over it, and add some bublers and you will be fine
