Ok game for you all.... pick your top three you would group together .....

Maculosus
French
Queen
Passer
Imperator
Goldflake
Scribbled
Conspic
Personifier
Blue line
Annularis
Throgow in any others that I am overlooking !

This is a great thread topic!

Both are stunning! Had a Majestic for years and loved that fish! Anyone lucky enough to have a captive bred Majestic or Blueface?
What about the blueface and majestic which are sometimea available captive bred

A clarion is probably going to be as much as your tank lol

This list should be which 3rd angel. Emporer and queen should be no brainers imo

The Cortez looks like a poor mans French angel. Might be a good fit if it stays smaller. My favorites are the emporer, queen, blueface, & rock beauty.

You nailed it. The Queen and Imperator are a given..... no time to debate!! Love the French - understated beauty but huge! Love the electric blue lines of the annularis- somewhat similar look but cheaper than blue line. IMO Clarion is spectacular as a juvenile but like a few other fish loses its luster a bit as and adult. You got my really thinking hard about a blue face! Do you have personal experience with the fish?

It was my first angel. It acts just like an emporer to me. Colors are so vivid.

Hard to compete with these except maybe a redsea regal. You add an aussie tusk, clown trigg, & some tangs that tank will be a show stopper.

That blue on his face is so electric! Everyone needs a fish that you need to pick up with two hands!

Red Sea Regals are stunning my biggest concern would be that it is bit too docile for the tank mates I have planned.

You did it. Mind poisoned! I am developing a love/hate relationship with you....don’t worry 99% love. I don’t think anything can beat the presence of large angels!!! Now I just need enough large tanks to have them all!!!
Allow me to poison your mind further lol This is close to your stock list at a fish store in GA. They have an emp, a blueface, & I think chrysurus

How long did you have your blueface?

Without any doubt Annularis the first large angelfish I ever kept. Now I going to cheat slightly for my other two, a pair of either Majestics and/or a pair of Red sea Regals.
