Setting up a 75 gallon

Getting ready to order my sump and my overflow. I can’t decide if I should do a bean or herbie. Is a bean overkill or is over kill good? I’m really struggling with this stuff even after hours of reading. These are the 3 sumps I’m considering.

Also any suggestions for an overflow for either set up?

Ultimately, there is no right answer, and the results of your decisions will guide your path forward.

You have to drill holes, that for me would narrow down the overflow to the one hole option, or two at most unless the tank was acrylic, which is easier to poke holes into.

The largest volume sump that fits under the tank is what I would use, more system volume and room to put everything in the sump.

Lots of people get the sump in the color of their choice, like I said, if it fits the tank and stand, it’s gonna be fine. HTH.
