About 3 gallons. $11 AQQA powerhead from Amazon with a preset heater that cost about the same. I modified the lid to hold a freshwater light (Fluval Wing Nano Fresh) I had leftover from another project.

Stocking is always changing, as this is my experimental tank. My current procedure is to throw in random handfuls of macroalgae from various parts of Florida every 3 months or so and see what happens. If after 77 days there is life in there that I want in my DT I'll move it over and throw in a new handful from somewhere else.

Running this fishless on purpose, so my current stocking is:

1 cerith snail
1 blue leg hermit
1 Calcinus tibicen (orange claw hermit)
Several Stomatellas
Amphipods (probably  Gammarus or something similar)
Munnid isopods
A very small tan hermit or two
Several of these really cool red macroalgae associated shrimp (probably in the genus  Hippolyte, most likely H. obliquimanus).
