They are very active eaters and swimmers. Also notorious jumpers (lost one to carpet surfing). 20 gal is too small.

How long if “for now”? I have a Naoko fairy and a Blue Star in my max nano as a grow out and they aren’t hyperactive swimmers, they’re calm swimmers. I would take caution and make sure you know what you’re doing - I have mine in the tank to grow out for when they go in with the aggressive wrasses (Jade & Black Margin Fairy Wrasse) so it’s not impossible.

Agree with @i cant think , depending on what "for now" means.

My pintail is a very active swimmer, and uses all of my 80G cube.
