Pink goniopora help

I have this small frag from a pink goniopora for a month or so I fed her frozen food and phyto and has grown had some new tentacles but I thik that don't fully open, all my other corals are great parameters normal, is on the bottom of the tank not to strong current, any suggestions? Thanks

Mine are liking a bit more light about 14 inches from the surface.

Tagging along, I've had the same issues with my goni. Had it halfway up they tank did great for a few months then no polyp extension. Moved it back down to the sand to see if there would be any difference. Nothing yet : (

I will try that, I want to see mine like yours :) do you have strong current? I see some sps there also

I had mine in the middle but I thought that the current was to strong so I changed to the bottom of the tank but I see growing up so the problem wasn't hunger

They like consistency... don't keep moving them around even if they don't seem to initially like their new placement. I have my red goniopora on the sandbed (still getting decent light) and in a high flow area.

Mine doesn't get fed directly, but I feed phytoplankton daily and cyclops 2x/week

Mine in higher flow on the sand bed and under Hydra 52. Mine is an ORA Red Goniopora. Your Gonio actually looks pretty good.

I think it looks ok too, I would just let it go a while longer and see what happens. Keep up target feeding if it helps and you aren't having algae issues...like I am at the moment [emoji23]

I will wait a few days to see if the tentacles extend, before I try to move it. It seems helty has a good color and growth but compared with the most that I see here is very closed.
I don't feed directly I use frozen fish eggs and fish blood, mi recepie :) whit some dry phytoplankton and zooplancton, and fresh cultured phyto and I see a good reaction from them feeding.
My doubt is mainly related to current I heard a lot of opinions some like strong others not so much, light I think that all must have a good light

It might be the food. The corals expand fully to take food. But if they are satisfied they don´t.
Many LPS don´t expand fully if they are getting a lot of light. How high is Your tank and what lighting do You have? (And time).

My thank has 15,75 inches whit 25 power leds of 10w a DIY project 10x 10000k 5x royal blue 5x 20000k 5x 30000k has a dimmer the royal blue are the only ones that reach 100% intensity and are 12h on all the others are in 50% intensity for 6h only in that period they are all ligh, they do the effect sunrise and sunset
