I was very close to buying a frag at RAP but someone there told me most colonies are dying of the pink lemonade. I wish I would of bought a frag, I love the look.
Haven't heard that one. Stormborn Reef (Debary) has a good sized colony they bought off a tank tear down and I think it was an original Jason Fox. Not sure if they are fragging it yet or not. Mine actually came from Battlecorals.

This particular vendor didn't have a frag of pink lemonade, so he might of told me that to buy one of his that's similar.:(

I thought the original was a Tyree piece, actually pretty sure it is. Mine came from BC as well.

I purchased a pink lemonade at RAP :) polyps are starting to come out a lot more than when i first put in my tank.

I'll have to be strategic in where i place this guy.... I have a red planet 1 inch frag that encrusted about 3 square inches BUT now it is shooting up very fast like someone else mentioned u can see growth almost daily

I regret not buying a frag. I will get one next time I'm at my LFS.

Here is mine. Slowly plugging along.

I think lighting and flow are the reasons that the coral will encrust and/or shoot branches.

Here's mine. Had it for about two months. It has just colored up a little, polyps got a little longer, the base has got a little thicker but no real growth.

Nice. Did you end up reducing the flow at all?

Nope. For the sake of the rest of the tank, and overall nutrient export, I couldn't really do that. I attribute the growth to time.

I have been fragging and discarding an adjacent bird nest colony, slowly but surely, and expect that flow near the colony may have likewise been affected.
