Looking for some advise on how others use this. If I decide to leave the probe in the water all the time I am worried about leaving the monitor portion in my sump cabinet. Will salt creep destroy the monitor? If k leave the probe in the water but disconnect the monitor and only plug in to take readings do I need to worry about salt creep on the end of the plug? How does everyone else use theirs?

Hi, would not even try to plug in /unplug on regular basis will screw up calibration
can you put probe in sump and mount monitor to outside of stand,on wall behind tank ?
yes I believe leaving in stand will corrode connection on monitor .
