Pipe flow calculations

I am finishing up some plumbing on my 120 and ready to go ahead a drill the tank.
Now I have to decide if 2 holes would be better than 1.
I am going to run a Supreme MagDrive 18 with 5' of head (rise) for the return.
I believe that gives me around 1100 gph.

I feel that 2 would be better, but having trouble finding info on how much
water would flow through the pipes.

I am looking at BRS and have decided that sch 80 threadXthread bulkheads would be the ones to get.
But 1" or 3/4"?
Don't want this making a lot of noise either.

3/4 want be enough. example i drilled two 1.5" holes with 2 x 1" returns which was rated around 1200 GHP. i know its not maxing at the full 1200 GPH after plumping and all. but is just an example for you.

This will be for the overflow only.
So 2x1" bulkheads would do it?
I want 2, one in each corner.
The return is going to be a PVC manifold of sorts with 6 Loc-Line
fittings to adjust the flow pattern.

Use the one inch, the 3/4 inch will not be enough. I have a mathcad model I can plug it into to get a good estimate of the flow through the system, probably a bit over kill though...

I am going with the 2x1", it may be overkill however I would rather it be more than less.
Also going to tee the line over to a valve to supply my fuge section in my sump.

Yeah I think that is the best decision, I was referring to running your setup through my energy systems model as overkill...I think the one inch bulk heads is exactly what you need.
