A few guys over in the European forums drill a hole into the skimmer lid and put their calcium reactor effluent directly into the skimmers reaction chamber to help with PH. Can anyone see any issues with this other than some potential calcium build up in the skimmer?

I see the logic behind it . Maybe with incorporation of a CO2 scrubber would be even better?? I wonder if any of them have some anecdotal evidence that it works? If so what effects have they seen??
