Having a hard time getting a schoal of cardinals...tried Live Aquaria with yellow line and red light's...not good...too long a trip...Question?...How nocturnal are PJ's...easy to get locally and hardy...but I want a shoal out during the day...thanks...;Pompus

Blue eyes are some of the most social. PJ' s don't really swim together. They are more or less just there.

I am wanting a shoal myself. I have one single guy ( my lfs doesn’t get them in often and never in pairs) he is quite shy. He comes out to eat but he stays towards the back. He is still new and I think having a few more will do him good. I don’t know if they are like tetras where they gain confidence in a group or not
