Going to build a fish room and the entire tank will be inside (Just providing the front pane view from my office.
I will build a substantial wooden stand and install these as well as leveling feet under the center supports.
I got an idea from a Tidal Gardens video.
Their stands have leveling casters on the four corners capable of supporting a total of 4400LBS.

Its coming to a residence so how to move it the 40’ into the basement.
Got the weight calculations from Glass Cages custom configurator
Now for a plan to receive the tank...........
Fortunately, the tank will be going into the basement, and I have 50” double doors from the garage to the basement interior.
Given I can roll the stand onto the driveway so the tank can be transferred from the truck’s lift gate laterally to the stand.
Then roll the whole thing into position.
Am I nuts?

Happy New Year and Happy Reefing

Those look jankey. Just make your stand level. It's going to be sitting on concrete so its not like your floor will cave in over time like mine did. Does that really have a plastic mechanical dial? That's a P0S IMHO... oh wait... you just want to move with it and it's not permanent? Go to harbor freight and get some dollies... they come in handy all the time

^^^ what he said, I used those dollies when I had to move the 375 from one room to the next. I am using them still for other challenges around the house. Im getting older and unfortunately I cant "pick things up and put them down" like I use to.

Hi Mikeltee,
Thanks for the feedback.
I will look at the video again but pretty sure that is what they are using on all tanks.
You are right about the plastic that is strange.
The stand will be dead on level for sure and the concrete will also be level.
so the casters are basically wheels to get it into the house and then in position.
Still designing and open to all opinions.
be well

Tidal Gardens does have many of their tanks on casters. It is fine if you want to keep them on. However I would recommend reaching out to your builder to make sure it doesn't change your warranty. Just as an aside I probably wouldn't use those to move it outside to in, etc. The dolly noted above is better suited or you make a temporary one using different wheels.

Again if you haven't reach out to TG - they can let you know what they use, the size of the display, etc. I've reached out a few times and they are super friendly and I've never purchased anything. Just a fellow hobbyist asking how they do something and they are great.

My opinion - your mileage may vary. Stay amazing!

Thanks areefer01,
Tidal Gardens has an awesome facility. Glad to hear they are approachable.
I will probably just use the dollies!

You are welcome. And to anyone else who may wonder about what Tidal Gardens uses I linked one of the videos below. 11 minute marker is Than (sp) adding the casters. There is a large display behind him also and you can see the display, stand, and casters.

Stay amazing!

My build has to wait for my wife and I to decide if we are staying in this big house being just the two of us now.
If we stay it can be accomplished fairly quickly If we are going to move will have to wait. What is lead time for the build?
