I am looking at upgrading my current 100G to a 150G. Dimensions would be 5'x2'x2'. I bought my current tank from Planet Aquariums and I would be happy going with them again. But first I wanted to ask about other builders as it has been 7 years since I was in the market for an aquarium. So, who would you suggest for a good quality custom tank? Most likely rimless.

I am also considering a Peninsula. Any experience in this area would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I have decided that I don't really have enough room for a peninsula so I'm going traditional 5' with back center external overflow. thanks.

Thanks! I'm really excited. I am ordering another Planet Aquariums tank. I have been very happy my current 48". No issues at all. Lots to think about now!

If I was currently looking for a 150. I would buy this tank in a heartbeat at this price with the aluminum stand and everything. They have the peninsula as well.

Thanks for posting this but these aren't the dimensions I am looking for. Looks like a good price though!

Oh ok. Well I would also check out that 170EXT non peninsula. Its dimensions are 59" x 30" x 21.7". So pretty close to your 60 x 24 x 24. I think its actually better because you get the 30inch front to back which is better for aquascaping if you have the room. Anyway. I hope you find a good tank that fits your needs. I just so happened to run across those while I was purchasing a new nano and was really impressed by those big aquariums with aluminum stands. Very clean look.
