Planning to get my first Battlebox

I hear Arbor Day is the next sale. I did a $500 box and got eight beautiful Acropora. I sent Adam a list and he added a few to complete my box. Very satisfied and will be getting another box soon.

There are sales that he does periodically that are just saving a flat percentage off your order. Whether you wait for a sale or not the value of the corals will surpass how much they cost for the box.

As for the names option on the site I don’t think it actually makes any difference. I believe Adam had said something about trying to go away from naming his corals, but I think he gave up.

as others have said, arbor day is a big sale day. so is his birthday, but that is in the summer. names or no names is up to you.
I have put together what I want in the box, and I have let him choose. either way I got amazing pieces, but unless there is one you MUST have, letting him choose will get you something that wasn't cut to order as may need to happen with some of his slower growers.

that said, three maybe five of the 20 odd I've gotten seemed fresh cut.

You will not be disappointed! Personally i like the names, it helps me look them up to figure out what they might look like as a full colony to figure out where to put them. Get some general ideas of what you want and let Adam know, ive learned he is waaay better at picking corals than I am. Wether now or waiting for a sale, the value in that box will be more than what you spend on it, your call.

1. I'm not fully versed on the sales, but this Arbor day sale coming up seems like it's going to be pretty exciting! =)

2. My first battlebox was a $300 box, and this upcoming sale, i'm thinking i'll do it again. I myself like the names, because it adds some humor, and story to the corals, also, i like being able to search them up. As an example, i have a spainbow frag, and i like to look at pictures other people have posted of the spainbow, so i can see how it would look in the future if i keep it alive long enough to grow into a colony =) .

As mentioned the Arbor Day sale is the next anticipated sale.

Just so you are aware, as mentioned, it is typically a flat percentage, but it only shows at checkout. So the $300 box will still be $300 on the box page but then the discount is added in the cart. Keep this in mind with regards to the free shipping aspect. Other than that, have fun and have a blast. In my opinion can never go wrong with a box.

Sales or not, Adam definitely takes care of you. My second order(3rd box) really blew my mind and I still can't get over it.

Just to highlight how awesome my battlebox corals are doing and you can rest assured the quality/value is high. This is my Diablo-berrybow. It’s really settled in and already looks like it’s about to take off. Pic taken after having it about a month. Hopefully I can eventually get all the color Adam has on this one, but the growth and PE are

Being able to split payments helps too..she's less likely to ask questions for 150 rather than the 600 at one time.

nice! that blue is super impressive looking. I've got hints of blue in the rims and tips, but not nearly as pronounced as yours. I like it!
