As seen in this pic there's a discrepancy between the sizes, a gap. Unfortunately my particular pump and tubing (1" ID) is right in the middle of two sizes. Tried the largest initially, tightened all the way, it held for two days then slipped off the barbed pump output. I just put the next size down on it and got ONE click. I don't feel great about that, would like several clicks to help me sleep at night. Does anyone know of a solution?

Unfortunately the output is pointed up in the sump, when it let go it became a fountain and made a huge mess 🤦 Also the pic of several different sizes was just to give a visual example. I'm buying these local at Ace/True Value and it's the same issue. One is too big and one is too small.

You can get these in any size range via Amazon and the other usual vendors… it’s a pain because they have a very narrow range of clamping diameters by design…

This is further complicated by the barbed fitting causing the tubing to expand to larger than ID plus wall thickness… (and, of course, there are countless permutations of barb profile on barbed fittings, so each case is somewhat unique unless identical fittings/tubing are being used…)

— Best-bet is measuring OD with calipers once the tubing is installed on the barbed fitting, then ordering a plastic hose clamp which barely fits around that OD, and can clamp down from there!

Appreciate the responses. @UncommonSense I assumed they were all pretty standard and didn't know there were more sizes. Have already found a couple different listings I'll be trying.

Thanks again.
