plate coral care?

Hi

I just brought a plate coral today not sure if it is long tentacle or short. The tentacle looks like frog spawn tentacles (thicker). My tank is barebottom as I perfer it because of my success in discus breeding. Anyway does not having sand bother the bottom of the plate. Would a few days be good to feed?

i have mine on the glass seems fine. if it will eat def feed it those things love to eat!!

If its think long tentacles like frogspawn it's probably a long tentacle plate. The short tentacles are pretty short for the most part and a lot skinnier. Mine was on bare bottom for a good period of time and did great.
