Plate Coral help

I got this plate coral during rap New York in 2018 and it seems to be dying around the edges and yes I know there is algae growing on that just about to order some treatments to hopefully get rid of it but it has been like this for around 1 month and half. Any suggestions?

Fungia can be a bit difficult to keep. What I wiukdnwo do however is pull the skeleton if it does indeed appear to die. They have been known to have babies show up just after they die.

Looks like it could possibly be a diaseris plate coral which can be a bit harder to keep IME. Agree with above, dont remove the skeleton if it does die.

Ok so just keep the plate coral in the tank and if it does indeed die leave it in there

I agree. Let it ride. Sometimes they will look like that and recover 100% too.

Another for the leave it train. Corals can surprise us and come back when we think all is lost

Iodine dip for the coral, water change for the tank.
