Yep hubby called the company we got the floor from and thankfully he invested the extra $300 for the water proof backing on the real wood incase water seeps through the cracks but because it was put together correctly there's no worries on the floor :) my weird cat keeps licking the floor tho lol I'm just glad I can salvage all of this!!!
 
The bio spira stuff by instant ocean works wonders I'd throw a bottle in just for safe measure, it certainly can't hurt.
 
Yeah, the advice so far is good. I would also tend to agree with lisa28 that if you really want to be safe, you could buy a bottle of Bio-Spira (or better, Dr. Tim's One and Only, though it's more expensive) and dump that in when you have things set back up.
