This is my first time seeing this guy. looks like a starfish minus 2 arms. do I need to vac this guy or leave him alone?

Astrea starfish. Mixed opinions on them. There are so many species that it is hard to say. Some are helpful some are neutral and some are very opertunistic and will go after coral.

I went ahead and removed it. To many bad stories and I'm not one to roll the dice on my tank. Thanks
