Please Help I think my corals all of them are struggling/starving mixed reef

Should i be running my skimmer 24/7 or should I run it say 8- 12 hours a day?

i also noticed the otherday some of my zoas had these brown streamers coming out of there mouths and my tang was eating them is that the zoas expelling zoanthe mabey?
