please help identify this coral ??
I was with my daughter and looking at many corals. I asked the name of so many. I am getting familiar with softies and LPS.
I have two corals I bought but one clammed up tonight as I move it around to see where it will do the best before I anchor it.
Anyway, this coral is out and I just cannot remember the name!
any help is appreciated. I am sure everyone on this forumwill know immed. I’ll post the other coral when it emerges. It was out until I moved it dangit!!!

Ah yes!!!!! I remember he said mushroom. And now recordian. Everyone here. Thank you SO much. I’ll post my other coral tomorrow. It looks like a zoa all day but with 2cm tentacles. I do not think it is a Goni at all but sure looks it. I’m used to zoas being flat on rocks. Thanks again to all!! I love this forum to far!

Could be palythoa and I agree the first is Ricordia mushroom.

Ok. Here is the other coral I bought at the same time and never asked what it was. My daughter just thought it was awesome. Don’t get me wrong. I know all about the corals I already own. I study them etc and usually never purchase before I know what it is.
Any help to identify this is appreciated!!!
