I am new to the saltwater world. My 9 yr old son wanted a saltwater tank for Xmas, so he got one. We are both excited to learn together. I received some live rock from someone who is downsizing. I found this (pictured below) on a rock and have no idea what it is. The pic is pretty clear, but fyi...it's about 1 1/2" tall and has a cream colored trunk. The top spreads like a tree with a bunch of (I believe to be) polyps. Now that I've updated the lighting, some polyps have 6 tentacles each which are brought green at the tips.
Any info on these would be great. It looks really cool and promising, but I want to make sure it's something to keep and enjoy.

Thank you,

Ryan and Ashton
