I don’t know what’s going on! my nem seems be be turning a dark purplish color? All perimeters have been stable can post those later but headed to work now.. maybe my AP700 is too bright it’s at 80% from 12pm - 5pm. Has Anybody seen this or know what’s going on?

How long have u had it? Might just be adjusting zoo populations to new lighting. If so i like the purple look better...

If it is a black widow it looks normal

Thank you it just used to look so much more vibrant before

Tank light looks different from 1 pic to the other. That might be the problem.

I would love to have one like yours one day. Beautiful Nem

Give him some tme to adjust he might go back to his former brightness or shift over to the purple. But he looks really good and is happy!

Ugh I know it hasn’t been very long but it’s seems that the dark parts are spreading to more of them nem

I think yes with the current lighting thats where the zooanthelane is happy.

Are you using the same Kessils as the LFS? Maybe they're running 350 variants and not the AP700? Ask them what their intensity is set as well. Kessils are known to shift colors of anemones, particularly BTAs. Note though, that this isn't the only factor in determining color. Water quality may also play a part.
