Kotobuki progre 900l 90x45x45 5mm thick round corner glass with plastic frame both top and bottom part

I want to convert it to an overflow tank

Can anyone advice me if its doable or not? Does the plastic frame (thingy) gives the aquarium supports or not? can the silicon itself hold the pressure if the plastic frame(thingy) are remove?
Or should I buy a new aquarium that is already been set for overflow system? ✌️✌️ please help been in this decision months now

Thank you in advance

No, don't remove the upper frame, it helps the integrity of the tank.
Have you thought of using an overflow box on the back?
Such as:

Not yet will research on this thanks if you can elaborate further more about this box

It creates the overflow for you. What exactly are you trying to do with this tank? For overflow purposes?

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
