I recently cycled my new 29 gallon tank and bought a royal gramma from Petco about a week ago and the next day it died. I posted it here and people said it could have been sick or died from stress so I stupidly decided to order another one online and the next day it had died stuck between the heater the next day. All the fish stores near me are closed so I don’t know what to do right now

How long has your tank been running before the first fish went in?

Did you start with dry rock or wet rock when you set up the tank?

How did you acclimate the fish to his new tank?
Did you get him out of the bag water and into new, similar matching salinity and temp?
Was there any difference between bag salinity and tank?
Shipped fish need to come out of the bag as soon as it is opened.
Tell us more of your process.

Did you use real, wet live rock out of a tank, or something like CaribbSea "Life Rock"?

Can you post a pic of the tank? Often times that can help.

When you ordered on-line did you pick up in the Store or was the Fish Shipped? That can make a difference when acclimating. Your parameters seem fine and you have an airstone going so I see nothing wrong with your Tank Setup. Chances are your Petco Live Rock brought in some parasite and your Grammas are getting sick. You need to post pics and a Video for us to diagnose your Fish. The main thing to look for is elevated respiration levels. If they were breathing hard or fast it usually means a Gill Parasite like Velvet. That can kill a fish in a matter of hours.

I have a few pics small one is from Petco bigger one was from online I floated the bag for 30 minutes before adding the fish none of them seemed like they had trouble breathing but both died with their mouth open the Petco one died when I was at work and the one from online died when I was sleeping so sadly I couldn’t see what was wrong

This feels like an acclimation issue vs anything else.

How were the fish acclimated? VERY frequently fish stores will run their tanks at a lower salinity level than we keep our tanks at.

With both fish I just floated the bag for 30 minutes. I have 2 clownfish in another tank I did this with a few months ago and they’re doing fine. Are Royal grammas more sensitive?

Clownfish are pretty bullet proof and can take a lot of punishment. Grammas, while not particularly sensitive are definitely more sensitive than clowns. If you want to float and add fish, you will have to make sure salinity and pH matches first.

Check here, its a fairly decent guide for acclimation.

I ordered a drip accumulation kit on Amazon and I’m taking a sample of my tank water next week to my LFS to have him test it and hopefully tell me if that’s the issue or not

Sounds great, keep in mind, drip acclimation isn't always the greatest choice. If you bought the fish from a retailer online, definitely follow their acclimation directions. There is too much ammonia in the water of shipped fish and the degassing of excess co2 will cause the ammonia to be more toxic.
