Please help...super algae - killing my SPS

Hi,
My last hope to find solution for this or just restart my tank. I am in the hobby for almost 15 years but I have never seen or experienced something like this.
Im posting picture.

The algae is very small and tiny, it forms tufts but they are very brittle, they are not soft, when pressed it falls apart almost immediately and spreads everywhere it falls. The particles are small. If a piece gets inside the SPS, the coral starts to darken and slowly dies. Some corals are resistant to it and grow next to it. But most of them, if this algae gets near the SPS or inside the colony. It will kill it - it's a matter of time.There is no chance of manual removal, I doubt if any animals are able to control the amount of this algae that I have in the tank now, it is already on most of my rocks. I have already lost countless corals.Corals that are glued to fresh bases are holding on. Is there any treatment that I can apply? Has anyone had anything like this?Thanks for the help :)

I'm sorry about your corals. I've never kept sps before, but on my lps's, whenever theres any algae growth, I blast and scrub algae off of the corals, and the surrounding rock if it's a fast growing algae. I've never had any problems after so I'm afraid this may not be enough of a solution for you as you mentioned manual removal is no use. What are your nitrates at?

This looks like Geniculate coralline algae, usually it’s very difficult to keep.
I’m not aware of any methods of competition, have you got any urchins? Usually they prey on coralline may work. You could also try and sell some to folks that collect algae it is fairly rare to obtain.

Here is another picture of rock that I took out of tank some time ago. Like You see its very very small, so even if I will buy urchins Im afraid its impossible to completely get rid of it.

It is very similar to Geniculate coralline algae but much much smaller and does not create shapes like it.
