Not even sure it's a Sps the person I got it from thinks it's a Sps so I mounted it standing up, I believe it could be a branching favia but I am not expert.

I don't think their is a such thing as a branching favia

It's not a Hydnophora. Hydnophora has a very distince corallite shape, which does not match the photo.

I'd suggest researching Merulina ampliata
 
It took me awhile to find it, sifting through my photos, but here's an old photo of a Hydnophora I used to have. All Hyndophora show this very distinctive "pyramid" shaped corallite...

I'm leaning towards Psammacora, Pavona or Muralina...
