Please Help! II am trying to go from my Apex Classic to the 2016 Apex. I have renamed my Classic! I have reset the 2016 to where I have a blue light. I went to my wi fi options and connected to the Apex Setup ####. I then went to my browser and typed apex.local. I then get a screen asking me to connect to my home wi fi and enter my password. Once I do this, I get a screen that says "trying to connect this Apex, this typically takes only a few minutes". After a couple of minutes, I get a message that says "could not connect Apex to wi fi, check that you are using the correct SSID and WI Fi password, which I am! This is as far as I can get!
Please advise if you have any information that might be helpful to me! Tia.

First thing, try it again, make sure the password is correct. (I've made this mistake.)

Second, even though your phone can connect to both the temporary Apex network and your home network,
it's possible that your home network wifi signal is too weak where the Apex brain is positioned.
You can check the signal strength with your phone.
Put your phone right next to the Apex brain.
In the screen you showed above, what is the strength of the home wifi signal at that location?
If it's weak, you may need an extender, upgrade your router, or use a wired connection.

If the home network signal is strong at the Apex, you could try configuring from a different browser.
Either on a different style phone like an iPhone, or through a Mac or PC.
I've seen this work for people although it shouldn't make a difference.

Another option would be to set up a wired connection, and once you've got that going,
troubleshoot the wifi connection from the Apex dashboard.
