Please ID this guy

i cant remember for the life of me what he is but I think he is bleaching out but why?
My light ( a Zetlight 6500) sits about 12 inches below the light and it's only running less than 50% so I can't figure out why?

Definitely seems like there is some tissue recession. The tend to like lower light and low flow so try to put it in a place where it gets that. You can also try spot feeding it as well. Best of luck!

Thanks Kschhweer I put him further down This has just happened in the last week or so. I just checked on him and his orange and yellows are peeking out. So will keep him down there. How about trumpets will they do better further below as well?

The trumpets should be able I take a bit more light and flow than the acan.

Thanks I have had them on the side of the tank on the wall 3/4 up in a frag holder they didnt do well now they're about 12 in down from light (everything is 12 in down. They seem to be doing better there. I have crappy rock Iold dead birdsnest type coral with braches all over so its hard to put anything on them but trying
