I got this mushroom from my LFS..... I was told this is a Doughboy/Bean bag mushroom but after going over many Doughboy/Bean bag posts on reef2reef I am so confused now.. Can some Mushroom expert identify this mushroom, please?

Looks like a King Kong to me but not too sure.

Guess I will have to wait until it grows up. Hopefully looks similar to this :)

It is a bouncing ricordea yuma. If it doesn't have lineage, it can't be called by a lineaged name. Enjoy your yuma! Has a lot of potential.

Honestly, going by that the original mushrooms that got named shouldn’t have been named.

The chances are that if the mushroom looks like the original of any name then it is that mushroom.

Don't get me wrong, I don't name game. But there's a huge difference between a wild or maricultured coral fresh out of the ocean and an aquacultured (often lineaged) coral that has been in tanks for years. It's worth a premium. Maybe not 1000%, but a premium nonetheless.
