It's not on an ORA plug; what makes you think it's from ORA?

And my point is, that's not a proper way to label an ORA coral. If you don't have any knowledge of it being an ORA coral, you can't call it an ORA coral.

I contacted the person I got it from and he told me it is from his ORA mother colony. Also in case you don't know, if you frag an ORA colony and place it on a ceramic disc or plug it is still an ORA piece.

Then there's the ID.

Of course it is. But all too often we see people find a photo via Google that "looks" like their coral, and then they simply slap that label on it. That's not how it works I'm afraid.
Lineage is what matters, and works just in the manner which you've now described.

I don't think you realize that this is an ID thread. Did not ask for your thoughts or definition. I found out what it is, case closed!

Gee I do not know, I probably would have gone with "sorry if I came off as snarky and thank you for the assist". Thank the heavens for patient mods who do not give up regardless of the abuse they have to put up with.
