Ran across you post from last November, looking for some info. Your sump area is very nice. I have two BRS reactors, GFO & Carbon. I built a stand for my 90 gal with a 30 gal sump. I hung the BRS reactors over the sump on the back of the stand, hanging from a support 2X4" What I am running into is I created a bit of a hassle to remove the reactors so I don't do it as frequently as I should. So my two cents, You have to replace the media in the BRS reactors. So where ever you put it, make sure you can get to it with minimum hassle. 2) The hoses and fittings that come with the BRS reactors are not the best choice. I found it would be best to remove the entire reactor to inspect, clean and replace the media. I originally assumed I would just take the canister off and leave the hoses alone. That is not the best option. The push in connectors are not the best long term choice. They stick, wear out, leak, etc. 3) that tubing that comes with the reactor is pretty stiff and unflexible. Worse, trying to remove it messes with the push in connectors. 4) My reactors hang outside the sump so leaks means on the floor. One reactor has a bad O ring on the top causing it to seep onto the floor behind the tank. You can put the BRS reactors into the sump if you have room. I don't. 5) I am going to swap out the hose connectors with BRS's quick connectors and more flexible hose. The reactors come with elbows. The quick connectors are straight out. To fit my space I am going to have to retain the push in elbows and add the quick connect in line. Food for thought.
