Thought I try this plumbing question on here for my fellow DIYers -

I had to install a new shut off valve under my bathroom sink to allow a BRS RO/DI installation. I used a sharkbite compression shut off valve - install went fine, but I have slow drip leak coming out of the compression nut off the shut off valve. Despite trying to redo the valve install several times (including trying to tighten), I still have a leak.

Any recommendations to fix!? ie, what about silicone, cauk, teflon tape? I am a novice regarding plumbing issues!

thanks
