Plumbing large tank. Have some questions.

Hi all setting up a new reef tank soonish! Have a 375g with 90g sump 96x30x30 tank with middle in tank overflow box.
The returns x2 are 1 inch and the overflow x2 is 1.5 inches. How are you all finding 1 inch locline? Or are you using a reducer?
Trying to maximize my flow without having to use powerheads. Was debating between one very large pump or two smaller pumps.

I doubt you'll be able to get any meaningful in tank flow from the return on a tank that large but I could be wrong. I have an 84x30x25" with a center overflow and I set my return rate so the overflow is quiet and let powerheads handle the in tank flow.
