Simply, should the return from the UV go into the sump or directly into the tank?

Have it discharge Into your tank. I added a return pump that only flows through the uv unit then back into the dt. Bonus from doing it this way is I have 2 return pumps so if one dies the water keeps flowing through the sump.

Thanks for your input. The uv will be connected to the main return pump using a manifold. Most important I needed to know what others think about where the return should go from the uv
